Savox Secures Fleet-wide Tactical Vehicle Intercom Solution Upgrade Contract
Savox has been chosen to supply the next-generation digital intercom systems for the vehicle fleet which includes both transportation as well as combat vehicles. The Savox IMP system will be retrofitted into a large number of armored fighting vehicles (AFVs), light vehicles and naval vessels as part of a major retrofit and upgrade program.
Trialed and Tested Tactical Vehicle Intercom Solution
Our customer has trialed and tested the c4i enabling intercom communication system on different sea and land-based platforms over a significant period of time. These live trials have proven that the Savox solution performs well in extreme heat and dust environments as well as cold and wet ones.
Agile Customer-Focused Delivery
Since the signing of the contract several months ago, Savox has purpose-built a new production line to accommodate for the manufacture and delivery of a very large quantity of software-defined intercom systems. We’re pleased to report that our production line is up and running at full-speed, and we expect our first deliveries to our customer in the third quarter 2015.
